Prince has confirmed details of his new album, "Planet Earth", which will accompany his upcoming summer residency in the UK.

The pop legend has reportedly reunited with famed former collaborators Wendy & Lisa on the new album, which will be released through Colombia.

News of the record coincides with his epic upcoming touring plans, which include 21 concerts in London during August and September.

Tickets for the final six of Prince's "Live Earth" concerts, on August 24 and 25 and September 6, 16, 20 and 21, go on-sale this Friday at 9am.

The new album will see him working with Wendy & Lisa for the first time since his landmark 1987 album "Sign O The Times".

"Live Earth" is due out on July 16 and will be preceded by the download-only release of a single, "Guitar".
