London, Nov 11: Rapper 50 Cent blames his celebrity status for being single. He says his popularity makes it impossible for him to date a "normal" person.

50 Cent has been linked with a few women and more recently reports claimed that he was dating singer Ciara. However, none of the relationships were long lasting and 50 Cent feels his busy life makes it impossible to work on a proper relationship, contactmusic.com reports.

He said: "I have a lot going on and it's tough. Let's say that I'd commit to someone who is 'normal' and has a 'normal' lifestyle. But I think they would feel neglected on some levels."
